When Fore Craft Cocktails sent me a sampler pack of their golf-inspired canned cocktails, I was eager to give them a try. Founded in Richmond, Virginia, in 2021, the company set out to provide golfers with convenient, ready-to-drink versions of classic cocktails commonly enjoyed on the course. There golf-inspired cocktails all feature premium spirts, are gluten free with natural ingredients, and range in ABV from 5-7%.
After tasting all of their offerings, I can confidently say they’ve done a great job delivering flavorful, high-quality drinks that fit seamlessly into a day on the links.

A Sweet Spot for Flavor
One thing I noticed right away is that these cocktails lean on the sweeter side, which happens to be a preference of mine. If you enjoy a well-balanced, slightly sweet cocktail, Fore Craft Cocktails has you covered. Each drink is made with natural flavors and premium spirits, ensuring a consistent taste every time you crack open a can.
On-the-Go Convenience: To the Course & Beyond
One of the biggest perks of Fore Craft Cocktails is the convenience factor. No more fumbling with ingredients on the beverage cart or dealing with inconsistent pours. These pre-mixed cocktails make it easy to enjoy your favorite golf drinks without missing a beat—whether you're at the turn, on the back nine, or relaxing at the clubhouse after a round.
The Classic Transfusion: A Beloved Golf Course Favorite
Fore Craft Cocktails’ first offering, and arguably their signature drink, is the Transfusion—a beloved golf course cocktail made with vodka, grape juice, ginger ale, and lime. This drink is a staple at many clubs and tournaments, and Fore Craft has done an excellent job in canning a version that is both authentic and delicious. The balance between sweetness and tartness is spot on, making it an easy, refreshing choice whether you're teeing off or celebrating a great round.

Favorites from the Fairway
While I enjoyed all the options, these two stood out as favorites: Both taste similar in that they are refreshing and highly citrus-y, but the different types of alcohol, as well as the mint in the Southside, give them their distinction.
Ranch Water – A refreshing mix of tequila, lime, and sparkling mineral water. It’s light, crisp, and not overly sweet, making it perfect for a hot day on the course.
Southside – This vodka-based cocktail with lime juice and mint was another standout. It’s smooth, refreshing, and reminiscent of a classic mojito with a slightly stronger kick.
A Bloody Mary Worth Mentioning
As a self-proclaimed Bloody Mary aficionado—and someone who even runs a separate Bloody Mary blog—I have incredibly high standards when it comes to this classic brunch and golf drink. Fore Craft Cocktails’ Bloody Mary offers a bold and flavorful experience, with a well-balanced mix of vodka, tomato juice, and spices. While nothing beats a made-from-scratch Bloody Mary with all the fixings, this canned version holds its own as a solid option for golfers who want a quick and satisfying drink before an early tee time.

Other Notable Offerings
Fore Tea (vodka, sweet tea, and lemonade) is an easy sipper with Southern charm, making it an excellent post-round drink.
Forezalea – Their take on the famous Masters Azalea cocktail won me over. I make my own version every April, so I appreciated their tribute to this classic drink with its mix of vodka, lemonade, and grenadine.
Final Thoughts
Fore Craft Cocktails has done a fantastic job creating convenient, delicious cocktails that complement the golf lifestyle. Whether you’re packing a few for a round with friends or just looking for a golf-themed drink to enjoy at home, these canned cocktails bring the flavors of the fairway to you. While they do lean on the sweeter side, that’s a plus for those who enjoy a smooth, flavorful sip.
For golfers who appreciate a well-made cocktail without the hassle, Fore Craft Cocktails is definitely worth a try. You can find them on their website, or in 11 states. Here in Wisconsin, for example, I know they are available at Total Wine.
Cheers to good times on the course, great drinks in hand, and keeping up the pace of play!
